Week 22-25 (August) theme for Art as the Message

Since this administration has taken office, fear has been at the forefront of so many discussions – fear of others, fear of the different, fear of immigrants, fear of religion, fear of sexual orientation and sexual identity. Whether it is the policies created out of fear or the telling us who to fear, it’s time to move beyond.

When we take the time to share with each other and appreciate the subtleties of each other’s backgrounds and experiences, we become closer as a community, as a world. Take this moment to encourage the President to look at others for who they are so he becomes less afraid.
